Q&A Why would anyone want to work as a librarian?

Question: Why would anyone want to work as a librarian? I worked as a librarian for many years, culminating in a library manager job in a nationwide public sector organization with satellite offices. I have worked in a patent agents in their information department,  a parliamentary library,  a school library and the then the Audit Commission mentioned above.
